[Openbts-discuss] using C140 motorola as a BTS station with openBTS ?

Hi everybody,
   I'm doing an internship in my university, it deals with GSM security and i would like to build a GSM network using a motorola C140 as a BTS tower. I first had this idea from the osmocombb project, but i can't subscribe to the osmocombb website (i think there are on vacation), that's why i looked for another software and found openBTS which appears to be the same...
Anyway, here are my questions:
1) Is it possible to make a GSM network using a C140 motorola as a BTS ?
2) Have you any idea on how to proceed ?
