Hello Robert,
Have you actually used the one purchased from Jackson? I purchased a
few not too long ago (after having purchased the Ettus GPSDO) and can
say they are actually NOT the same. The ones sold by Ettus are a
custom 3v model while the Jackson are 5v. While they do pin match and
pretty much everything else appears the same the voltage is different.
I luckily noticed before putting them on my boards but unfortunately
Jackson did not seem interested in accepting returns (if anyone is
interested in trying their hand at making them work let me know... I
have extras).

Ganzorig Ulziibayar - If you are looking for an inexpensive ready to
go solution I would recommend Fairwaves clocktamer - they seem to be
the best overall bang for the buck that do not require any custom
modifications.
