Well, you could ping the phones IP address, but the load will be extreme for a relative slow GSM system. Ralph. This is far too long for what I need. I have been told that mobile phone communicates with the tower about every 2 minutes. And TMSI is then transmitted. This fact is used by some companies to track the path of MS inside buildings. So there must be something else than T3212, because 6 minutes would be too long time to track anything. 2 minutes would probably be enough for me, but I am ideally looking for something in 5 sec. range.
