[Openbts-discuss] Getting signal strength information from Openbts

Is there a way to get this information from Openbts when MS is idle? Is there a way to get that info at the time when MS registers to Openbts?
And a related question. Is it possible to generate some traffic between MS and Openbts from CLI? I want to use this trafic to measure get the information as above. Is ist possible to tell MS to unregister and register back immediately? Or can I triger LUR periodicaly?
In all the above I want to happen quietly, invisibly for the user, so opening a voice connection is not an option.
