Walter, your daughterboards are probably flashed with rfx900 firmware. If you want to operate in 1800 GSM and, use ./burn-db-eeprom -A --force -t rfx1800_mimo_b Look http://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/gnuradio/wiki/UsrpFAQDBoards#What-is-involved-in-changing-an-RFX900-to-an-RFX1800 for more reference. You don't need to solder any capacitors, it is related just to RFX900. RFX1800's band can be changed by flashing entirely.
