Hi,
I just ordered a bulk of 100 programmable SIMs.
Basically you can set :
- ICCID
- IMSI
- Ki (great for testing encryption !)
- Home PLMN
- Rejected PLMN
This way they can't register on any true network and you can
pre-program them to prefer your custom MCC/MNC and reject the local
ones. I'm using a sample I got right now and that's quite useful. You
can also pre-set the "last ARFCN used" so most phone will scan it
first and lock to the openbts clock.
100 is way too much for me that was just the MOQ. They're about 4 eur
(6$) a piece.
I was planning on re-selling my surplus by pack of 5 to whoever was
interested, either by simple mail/pay pal or at events like 26c3 /
fosdem.
If you'd like some, contact me off list and I'll tell you when they arrive here.
Sylvain
