Open Slider / Blog: Recent posts

My Open Build parts have arrived. I am currently building the slider. Check the 3d parts folder as things are added. The end caps, end stops, and end sensor plates have been designed. I ordered a ball head to mount the pan/tilt system which I'm still designing. I'm going to continue working on the software to get a base firmware out for testing the sliding function with an LCD. I've got all the basics programed but no action programming yet. We'll see if I can get an alpha complete by this weekend and then pass it on to some friends to see if they want to build one.... read more

The Arduino and RAMPS board have arrived. I'm a bit stuck on some interface issues with the app so in the meantime I'm going to start working on the firmware.

Getting started on the project. Still waiting for my hardware to come in. In the meantime, I'm working on the layout of the android app UI. Should be getting some hardware in by early next week.
