Category: Reference Group: 3.2.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: pragmatic_lee (pragmatic_lee) Assigned to: David Ashley (wdashley) Summary: ressref errnums.sgml typos Initial Comment: patch attached ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: David Ashley (wdashley) Date: 2007-10-14 14:42 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=931756 Originator: NO Rick - are yoy compiling the rexxref on a local machine of yours or the build machine? If the machine is a local machine be ser to read the texmf.cnf file in the root subdir. It spells out changes that need to be made to that file in order to compile the rexxref doc. If the was compiled on the build machine then we may need to adjust some of those settings upward. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: pragmatic_lee (pragmatic_lee) Date: 2007-10-13 15:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1223125 Originator: YES I'll try again "function_name" spelled "funtion_name" 1 place "occurred" spelled "occured" 1 place "that the" spelled "thatn the" 1 place Lee ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: pragmatic_lee (pragmatic_lee) Date: 2007-10-13 15:00 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1223125 Originator: YES Sorry Rick, been outside about all day and think I might have fried my brain. Those typos were in the funcl.sgml Sorry, Lee ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Rick McGuire (bigrixx) Date: 2007-10-13 14:46 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1125291 Originator: NO ok, I give up, where? I'm not finding either of those mispellings in the current rexxmsg.xml. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: pragmatic_lee (pragmatic_lee) Date: 2007-10-13 14:40 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1223125 Originator: YES In case the typos didn't get fixed in the code change, here is what I found in that file. maximum is spelled maxium in 2 places querying is spelled quering in 2 places Lee ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Rick McGuire (bigrixx) Date: 2007-10-13 10:23 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1125291 Originator: NO David, I fixed the rexxmsg.xml file, but when I updated the errnums.sgml file, I got a lot of errors when I tried to build that don't make sense to me. I've reverted that part of the update. Is there some additional tweaking that needs to be done to that file? Does the style sheet used to generate the file need changing? I'm a bit concerned that one of the errors seemed to imply we'd reached some sort of size limit. Perhaps we need to split the error numbers into a separate file. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Rick McGuire (bigrixx) Date: 2007-10-13 09:57 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1125291 Originator: NO Believe it or not, this was actually a code error :-) The errnums.sgml file is automatically generated from the master rexxmsg.xml file in the code tree. The version in the docs has not been updated in a while, so I've refreshed the version. There have been new messages introduced and changes to existing messages, so you might want to redo the spell check. Committed revision 960. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=1001880&aid=1812848&group_id=119701 |
