Which is a lot of people. So I think I'd rather have an explict method: .Application~autoDetction(.false or .true) with the default being false. Or "ON" or "OFF" for the arguement. You need to be able to set the default back to what the actual default is. In a large application, some one might want to change the default for part of the program life, and then restore the default for another part of the application life. And some type of convenience method that could be used to set a number of defaults at one time. Something like: d = .directory~new d~fontName = "Tahoma" d~fontSize = 14 d~autoDetect = "OFF" d~useConstDir = "ONLY" d~symbolFile = "CustomView.h" .Application~setDefaults(d) -- Mark Miesfeld |
