Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: LesK (vmrexx) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: ::REQUIRES doesn't search Windows path Initial Comment: ooRexx 4.1.0 32 bit on 64 bit Windows 7. I'm using THE editor and a macro (run.the) that saves a copy of the file being editted in the C:\THE\ folder as a 'temp.the' file and then executes it as a macro. I've used this technique for years to develop and test ooRexx/OLE code for Excel, with ::REQUIRES for files in the SAME folder. I do the same thing for the sample 'usepipe.rex', I get the error: 129 *-* ::REQUIRES 'pipe.rex' Error 43 running C:\THE\__tmprun.the line 129: Routine not found Error 43.901: Could not find routine "pipe.rex" for ::REQUIRES The Windows PATH setting *does* include the samples folder, so it appears that ::REQUIRES processing is not searching the PATH, which it is documented to do. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684730&aid=3308776&group_id=119701 |
