Category: External Functions Group: Windows Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Mark Miesfeld (miesfeld) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Replace ooDialog WinTimer with a waitable time Initial Comment: ooDialog has a documented external function: WinTimer() The implementation for this seems poorly thought out, because the wait operation sits in what is essentially a busy loop consuming 100% of the CPU. It looks like replacing the implementation with a waitable timer object would serve the same purpose and be much more efficient. As an enhancement, the new APIs would allow the waitable timer's callback function to directly invoke a method in a Rexx object. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684733&aid=2849192&group_id=119701 |
