Category: Interpreter Group: v4.0beta Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Mark Miesfeld (miesfeld) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Possible problem interfacing with THE Initial Comment: >From an e-mail to myself and the developer of THE. Since the user says that THE worked flawlessly with earlier versions of the beta, but stop working with 4525, it seems plausible it is an ooRexx problem. Opening this so I don't forget it. When I get a chance I'll take a look at it, I have THE installed on a system. ------------------- Gentlemen, I hate to report that on my Windows (XP Service Pack 3) ooRexx 400 beta build 4525 seems to be incompatible with The Hessling Editor 3.3B3. I run THE in XEDIT mode with a profile. When I start THE, the window appears displaying the directory or file, but in a frozen state and a short alarm sound. Pressing any key has no effect. The window can only be closed via the Windows close button in the top right corner. Under earlier builds, for example 4459, THE worked flawlessly. Because I use THE very heavily, I had to de-install build 4525. If you need additional error information, please let me know and I will do further experimentation with build 4525. Sorry for the bad news. THE is is precisely the sort of application that might experience the problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684730&aid=2784592&group_id=119701 |
