Category: Platform Interface Group: v4.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: jfaucher (jfaucher) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Windows : exception in orexxole.dll when omitting parameters Initial Comment: Using the debug version of ooRexx 4.0 compiled with Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition, I have an exception raised in orexxole.dll when running this code : excel = .OleObject~new('Excel.Application') excel~visible = .true workbook = excel~workbooks~open(directory()"\datas.xls",, /*readonly*/.true) workbook~close excel~close The problem comes from the omitted parameter in the call of the method "open". The patch fixes this problem, but I don't know why the try/catch in IsInstanceOf did not catch the exception... I did not test with the release build. Maybe is it a problem only with my configuration ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684730&aid=2457131&group_id=119701 |
