MultiTerm's TBX output is thoroughly broken, and SDL has no intention of fixing it. The output looks like TBX, but is not valid. The OmegaT documentation on glossaries mentions the use of MultiTerm to output TBX, twice. Please remove these, and perhaps add a note not to use MultiTerm's TBX output.
Note that converting MultiTerm's fake TBX is a less-than-trivial problem currently being worked on, and the process is currently very non-user friendly. It is good that OmegaT can import the .tab files that MultiTerm outputs.
