Good point. I now remember reading something about Remove Tags placing all tags in the end of the segment. Does Remove Tags cause the entire translation to be placed before the leading tag then? If yes, this bug is redundant indeed.

Fixed in SVN (/trunk), using the solution described previously (when Remove tags is on, Remove leading and trailing tags is considered on automatically).
With the fix, the test document works fine.

The issue comes from having both Remove tags checked and Remove leading and trailing tags not checked.

The workaround is simple: When using Remove tags, always make sure Remove leading and trailing tags is checked.
The potential fix is to enable automatically in memory Remove leading and trailing tags when Remove tags is checked.
