Isn't it the same as https://sourceforge.net/p/omegat/bugs/634/?

Only one of the two should remain open.

Good point. I now remember reading something about Remove Tags placing all tags in the end of the segment. Does Remove Tags cause the entire translation to be placed before the leading tag then? If yes, this bug is redundant indeed.

Yes, we have to put them somewhere.

    Yes, before all tags.

Then it is the same indeed. Thank you for the explanation, Didier.

    Duplicate of
Word: anything placed before the leading tag is omitted in translated document

The issue comes from having both Remove tags checked and Remove leading and trailing tags not checked.

    See also:
Word: anything placed before the leading tag is omitted in translated document
    https://sourceforge.net/p/omegat/bugs/634/

The workaround is simple: When using Remove tags, always make sure Remove leading and trailing tags is checked.

The potential fix is to enable automatically in memory Remove leading and trailing tags when Remove tags is checked.

Fixed in SVN (/trunk), using the solution described previously (when Remove tags is on, Remove leading and trailing tags is considered on automatically).

With the fix, the test document works fine.

Fixed in the released version 3.0.8 update 1 of OmegaT.
