I am not sure if it is a problem of the Editor, the EditorShortcuts.properties or the way OmegaT is handling shortcuts on macOS.

If I modifiy the EditorShortcuts.properties to my needs a lot of key combos I would like to use are already sort of fixed implemented. E.g.:

If I turn off "TAB" as key to move to the next segment, I should be able to use it as a trigger for autocompletion or to toggle between autocompletion entries. Instead of that, the editor always insert a TAB character.

Same for simple LEFT and RIGHT to move inside character tables, which just moves to the next character in line instead of TableLeft TableRight.

TL;DR:
I would expect the Autocomplete window to be on top as long as I perform an escape event, so the inline commands should not work anymore, which is obvisiously not the case.

    Edit:
I would expect the Autocomplete window to be on top and focused as long as I am not performing an escape event, so the inline commands should not work anymore, which is obvisiously not the case.

Another approach would be to give the Shortcuts in the EditorShortcuts.properties the highest priority so that certain inline movements/actions will be disabled if I choose to use them for another task.

Could you send a mail version to the user to see if other platforms/mac users have the same issue?
