Hi Phillip,
I found an undocumented feature today. I have a form that shows another form using ShowDialog, and this second form flashes when I click the first form, which is the standard behaviour.
If the second form contains one of your OLV controls, there is no flashing and it looks as if I can activate the parent form (although it's not usable - the form shown with ShowDialog is still modal).
Small sample project attached. This is compiled against .net 461, but it also happens if I compile against .net 2.0. I used v2.9.0, installed via nuget package manager from ObjectListView.Official.
Cheers
Michael

Oops ... I probably should have used a different milestone, sorry ;-)
I probably also should have mentioned that I'm using VS2015 Update 1 (Community Ed.) on Windows 7 SP1.

If you set UseOverlays to false, the form will flash as desired.
