Just to clarify the "labeled for future import": that means they are not currently available in an external ontology and we can't mireot them right? Could we try and submit on relevant trackers, and hope they would be added quickly, allowing us to mireot them directly? If we create them in OBI first, they will get an OBI ID, which means they will need to be deprecated when will import later on.
