Since our good friends at SourceForge have decided to grant us access to newer servers, we can finally offer you the enhanced experience that is MediaWiki 1.13. Up until now, we were working with a very old release of MediaWiki that was released about two years ago. The new version has a lot of cool new features that we haven't even began to explore.... read more

Subversion joy

Two peanuts walk into a bar, one was a salted, the other moved NSIS source code repository from CVS to SVN. What does this mean to the peanuts? Nothing. What does this mean to us? FASTER! It also has some cool features that the peanuts would love to discuss with you.

TortoiseSVN can be used to checkout the new source code.

CVS is still available but will not be further updated. All latest development will be found in the SVN repository.

Site search

Web searches on the NSIS Wiki are now done by Google instead of MediaWiki. Hopefully, this would generate better and faster results. As a bonus, it searches the documentation as well, instead of just the Wiki content.

Please report any problems. Suggestions welcome.

Cron is back

After replacing every part of it but the HD due to lightning strike, moving it 100 miles just to find out the HD was affected after all, replacing the HD, fighting with the OS to recognize the new SATA drive, reconfiguring it to connect through a different and crazy internet service; all while moving myself and all my stuff the same 100 miles, the server is finally back online.... read more

2.26, uninstaller and $PROGRAMFILES

I've just been informed by Russell Davey that $PROGRAMFILES and $COMMONFILES no longer work in the uninstaller.

A quick check has shown this to be caused by the addition of $PROGRAMFILES64 and friends. A fix is already present in CVS and 2.27, containing this fix, will be released this weekend.
