Tile Rasterization

You can copy tiles from the entire map or a selected area into a bitmap, modify it in any graphics editor and paste it back into the Map Editor.

1) Copy tiles to bitmap

On the Objects/Waypoints page, in the Map Copy panel at the bottom, select the Bitmap page, and then the Tiles page.

  • To copy a map area, press the Copy Area button and select the area to be copied.
  • To copy the entire map, press the Copy All button

2) Editing bitmap

Paste the image into any graphics editor (the author recommends XP Paint), modify it using the same colors, then copy all or part of the image to the clipboard.

3) Insert image as tiles

Press the Paste button and paste the copied area into the map.
The Walls option allows you to automatically add walls to the inserted part according to the specified rules. More about the rules for generating edges and walls here.

Edges between tiles will be generated automatically according to the given rules. More about the rules for generating edges and walls here.
