Unless one happened to use ion3, it's relatively unclear how a user is supposed to learn about mod_xinerama and mod_xrandr. Perhaps these should be added to the default configuration files, or mentioned somewhere in the documentation.
I just installed notion on a new machine, and struggled to find any documentation about how to enable these modules.
Is there any reason not to simply load these modules by default in the shipped configuration files?

Hi Ed!
Thanks for the feedback - I agree we should probably just load them by default. (actually you only need mod_xrandr these days, the mod_xinerama name just confuses people (because it uses the xinerama API but that doesn't mean your X server needs to use the deprecated xinerama module).
Hi,
I agree and have done this in commit 503f0f4de2b24f3e67dce012c71a0f8b8d564c4a
