Hi Javier.

On Windows 10, when I try to run FileOptimizer on a png or jpg on a network drive it fails. The extension is changed to .bak, but no optimizations occur. When I copy the same files to my local drive, there are no issues with optimizing images.

It is strange, I tested it sometime ago. Does it happens also when the network drive is mapped as a letter, or only when you access like \NETWORK\File?

Both methods fail to optimize the image.

Just discovered that only files saved with Photoshop CS6's 'Save for Web' feature will fail on network shares. A jpg saved with the 'Save As...' dialog will be compressed properly.
