Hi Paulo, On your question on some extractors giving out "/" in a node-name, I believe this to be true. When one is extracting with back annotated node-names from a hierarchal netlist some extractors use "/" as a separator. I notice from recent activities on the mailing list a lot of activity on hierarchal expansion in ngspice. If somebody is keeping a wish list my wishes would include 1) parameter passing (I get the impression from one of your mails that something is there but I don't know where it is documented). 2) Globals. It is nice to see that you are pushing for this. 3) Passing of the multiplication factor. When a subckt is instantiated with a multiplication factor then all devices/instantiations inside that subckt need to get the multiplication factor appropriately. 4) Device-Binning :- I'm not sure that it is as yet supported inside ngspice. The device-binning would need to be done after parameters are passed down to a subsck instantiation. 5) The ability to use equations. Is this currently possible. If so what is the syntax (PSpice or Hspice compatable?). 6) Measure statements in batch mode. The ability to do this would bring ngspice more in line with commercial SPICE products. You probably know all of these anyway but I've seen no wishlist or roadmap so this is my 5 cents...
