Hi Alex, my friend Wladek Grabinski from MOS-AK could help you in finding something useful for the community, I think. CUSPICE is my work and I’m glad someone wants to continue it. Take into account that only transient simulation has been accelerated on the GPU and only for some models. Some implementations maybe could be realized more efficiently… VSRC and ISRC had to be simplified… Matrix solving on GPU is not really trivial. Some very good friends tried it with some success, but the speedup really depends on matrix and thus on the circuit under simulation. I don’t want to tell you not to try, eh! :) I’m just telling you that it’s very difficult. The big problem of PhD and academia, IMHO, is the fact that you have to demonstrate that what you are doing is new!!! They almost don’t care if it’s the same, but more efficient… I had a lot of fights for this at the time of my PhD… Good luck! :) Fra > Il giorno 12 set 2018, alle ore 03:22, Luther T Cat <lut...@gm...> ha scritto: > > Hello Alex, > > You may want to consider contacting some of the institutions who present at the MOS-AK workshops: > > http://mos-ak.org/ > > Luther > > On 9/10/18 5:34 AM, Alexandru Dan Timaru wrote: >> Hello all, >> >> I am an engineer from Bucharest Romania with 10 year experience in circuit design and analog modeling(Verilog-a,ams, VHDL-AMS,SPICE,MAST) >> I would like to start a PhD on the topic of novel algorithms for spice simulation.
