[Ngspice-users] Antwort: .tran run twice: diferent results; why?

Not sure if this is at all related, and can't tell without seeing your netlist, but I saw strange behavior of transient simulation when I had time-dependent sources that were non-zero at the start of the simulation. You may want to check that PWL sources have a (0 0) point, sinusoidal sources have no phase-shift etc.

Hello,
I’ve noticed something (strange):
doing the same transient analysis on the same circuit, without changing nothing,
I mean, executing “run” followed by “run” on the Ngspice
prompt I get different transient initial solution, different circuit response,
and different amount of data (No. of Data Rows).
Transient setup:
.tran 0.1ns 2ns 0.0
What causes this?
Can I make it to “produce” the
same result every time I do a “run”, which means: every time I do a
transient analysis ?
