So, today. I boot my computer and then the NetTime syncs as soon as the computers internet connection services start, which is good, It syncs with -441 ms, which is normal because the computer was closed for like 10 hours. Then, it syncs again 15 minutes later with 250ms sync. This, I thought was weird, because it is never off by this much in 15 minutes, as much as a quarter of a second.
Sure, I understand that in 15 minutes the sync can vary even up to 50 ms, BUT! here, it is 250 ms,
so I am thinking it is because it was the second sync, and simply syncing once after a boot isnt enought to make the system accurate again, so the user has to wait for 15 minutes before they can sync again automatically to become accurate.
So, I was thnking perhaps you can give us an option to double sync with like a minute interval after the first sync, instead of syncing just once to ensure that we dont have to wait like 15 minutes.
I also attached a screenshot of the verbose log.
And link for the screenshot is also here:

Thanks.
I'd say that the initial correction wasn't right - although it's possible that it's related to being the first sync since starting, I would say that it's more likely that the initial server that was used was just out by a bit. You would need to do more testing to confirm this one way or the other, but I don't think that adding a second sync 1 minute after starting would actually help (and there's the potential for causing overloading of servers in certain circumstances)
If you're needing guaranteed sub 1 second accuracy, you're better off switching to a full NTP implementation - NetTime is only a "Simple Network Time Protocol" client - Although SNTP clients will generally give sub second accuracy, there are a number of situations where larger errors can occur.
So, I switched to a server that is closer to me, and I am getting better ping as well as better initial sync results it looks like.
I don't know if that can affect it, but I am quite satisfied with the way things are working right now.
Thanks for the replies. Great program.
