In previous versions there was a list of available timeservers included, and it was possible to automatically test the net lag. Will this feature be available again...?
I mainly use NetTime to synchronize system times on servers worldwide for logging purposes. therefore I like the time to be synchronized within 100ms accuracy. when I syncronize the time worldwide with the same server, I notice a timedifference of about 375ms whereas with the previous version 2.0.7.174 this is <100ms. a predefined list of timeservers based on location, e.g. *.pool.ntp.org would make this a lot easier.
also in the same screen there was an option to find local NTP servers, this was also a handy feature...

The biggest problem with the previous built in list of NTP servers was that permission was never sought from the owners of those servers to include them into NetTime, so they really had to be removed.
As far as I'm aware, the NTP Project requires that I only offer the NetTime specific servers *.nettime.pool.ntp.org in NetTime, but there is nothing stopping you from using the continental or country specific zones with NetTime:
I'm sorry, no - there aren't any plans to add that feature back in.
Is there a specific reason why you're wanting this feature instead of using the default NTP Pool servers?
