File selection fails from open/save/save-as dialogs.
In file open, message box is generated upon double
clicking file.
The message is "Please select a file to open"
In file save, the message is "Please supply a name for
the file"
(typing in a name works fine in file save)
In both cases, multiple messages to this effect:
Name: Text
Class: XmTextField
Character '\57' not supported in font. Discarded.
are printed to the terminal. The subject character varies.
My primary font is:
-adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--12-120-75-75-m-70-iso8859-1
Also, directory navigation does not work in either
case. Upon
double-clicking a directory, the dialog flickers a bit
but the new
directory is not listed and the directory list is
unchanged.
Similar terminal message is seen.

Does this also happen with a stable OpenMotif (2.1.30) ?
Version 2.2.2 is broken beyond repair.

So did you try OpenMotif 2.1.30?
