Open Selected

We are trying to use nedit 5.1.1 on a Concurrent system PowerHawk using 4.3 OS .
If the user selects a file name and then uses the File>Open Selected option
we get a core dump. ??
I have done make ccur on the source code twice and this behavior seems to be consistent.
If anyone has any suggestions or hints or tips I would be glad to test and try.
I hope that I am using the proper target for this report
Thanks in advance

What OS is this? I'm not familiar with it. 4.3 sounds like AIX. Is that it? If not, type "uname -a" and send us the output.
Did you use a pre-compiled binary from our site, or compile it yourself? If the first, which binary?
The Concurrent OS is at release 4.3.
This is a real-time unix system from Concurrent.
The base is V. Concurrent adds hooks for the real-time extensions and they have
an Ada development system that we use.
I had gotten the source gz file and did a 'make ccur' to build this version
The make did NOT report any errors and very few warnings.
I did not try to even fine binarys.. :-D most GNU items will compile and work.
PowerMAX_OS xxx 4.3 PowerMAX_OS Night_Hawk ppc604
Thank you for your responce.

Well, I think we need more input from your side!?
If you have the sources and a core dump
can't you provide some debugging info
like a stack trace?
Or if you're willing to do even more you
could try our current development version
from CVS and check whether the situation
has changed meanwhile.
