I have a NetCDF file with a daily time sequence of accumulated rainfall i.e, rain[time,lon,lat], where rain is the total rainfall from the start of the model run. Can you please advise me on the best way to subtract the preceeding day's total from the total on each day to give a field of the rainfall on each individual day?
