Damn! Ignore that. I stepped into my own trap. I made a slight change #idef'ed by URLDECODE_RELAXED which screw the handling. I do not need it any more so I can also remove that "fix" from the code. Cheers, Zoran |

Hi, Look here: lexxsrv:nscp 5> ns_urlencode -part path "foo+bar" foo+bar lexxsrv:nscp 6> ns_urldecode -part path foo+bar foo bar This does not seem right to me, does it? I would say, the following must be truth: $string == [ns_urldecode -part path [ns_urlencode -part path $string]] which here it isn't. If nobody strongly objects I will have to fix that accordingly. Let me do that in the next few days. At the same time I will like to ditch that ugly introspection mechanism. This is a long time due. Hopefully I will not step on somebody's toes with that ;-) Cheers Zoran |

I've imported the loopctl stuff and merged in the thread cancelation functionality from nsd/tclinit.c, including a crash fix. (Still needs a man page) If you used to do: set tids [ns_ictl threads] ns_ictl cancel $tid You can now do: set tids [ns_loopctl threads] ns_loopctl abort $tid I'm going to remove threads|cancel from ns_ictl. |

I did not compile ALL the modules in our app (I keep forgetting one all the time). It compiled now and it works fine. Sorry for the noise on the list (my fault). Generally we are still "in flux" and the public API is changing so one always need to remember to recompile *everything*. Lately I was very occupied so I did little (none?) work on the server. I wanted to get this init stuff entirely done with interp traces and trash that Tcl introspection stuff for good. Perhaps this will be a good time to "get to know" all the changes done so far. Some months ago I suggested to make a 5.0 release... Or, at least some other like 4.99.3 or such.... will make things simpler for us. What do you all think? Cheers Zoran |

I removed the entire /usr/local/ns and reinstalled all fresh. This works now as expected. Including the IE7. But... our own app will not. And that is only on IE7. Other browsers work fine. The damn thing with IE7 it shows *nothing* as if the inital connection to the server failed. No logs whatsoever... There must be something that radically changed in the server. Hi again! Seems quite a few of things were chaged in some last weeks... I observe (on all browsers) that after firing up the server for the first time, the very first (home)page takes about 2-3 seconds to display (load). After some time (hitting it 2-5 times) it loads faster. After restarting the server, the same thing repeats. Also, there is a funny 5 seconds delay when starting up the server: [26/Jun/2007:17:57:30][8163.a000ed88][-main-] Notice: adp[server1]: mapped /*.sjis_adp [26/Jun/2007:17:57:30][8163.a000ed88][-main-] Notice: adp[server1]: mapped /*.sjis_adp [26/Jun/2007:17:57:30][8163.a000ed88][-main-] Notice: adp[server1]: mapped /*.sjis_adp [26/Jun/2007:17:57:30][8163.a000ed88][-main-] Notice: conf: [ns/ server/server1]enabletclpages = 0 [26/Jun/2007:17:57:35][8163.a000ed88][-main-] Notice: nssock: listening on 192.168.234.100:8080 [26/Jun/2007:17:57:35][8163.2801800][-driver-] Notice: driver: accepting connections That is, before the nssock driver tells it's ready the server "naps" for 5 seconds. I wonder what is being done there? Perhaps the pause of the loading home-page and startup delay are related? Cheers Zoran |

Hi! The IE7 is not able to talk to our server. Perhaps anybody has some idea why? I updated to last CVS status today (haven't been updating for about a month or so) and saw LOTS of changes... If nobody has any idea, I will have to pull up the sleeves and fix that asap. Cheers Zoran |
