#1390 NAPS2 on MacOS Sequoia only works sporatically

I downloaded NAPS2 and used it in combination with my Epson Perfection 3490 Photo scanner. Image capture has not been working since installing Sequoia. I also donated to NAPS2 becasue it was working at first. Now it only works sporatically. Both NAPS2 and Image Capture cannot connect to my scanner. Can you help me with this issue? Thank you

NAPS2 uses the standard Mac way to connect to scanners (at least for this device), so if it's not working in Image Capture, it's expected it won't work with NAPS2. Pretty much all I can recommend is to try re-installing the driver from the Epson support page:

I downloaded and installed the driver from the link you sent but it still says: Error Failed to open a connection to the device.

I restarted my computer again and now NAPS2 is working.
