Recent Windows 11 update seems to break scanning.
Scan documents to PDF and other file types, as simply as possible.

Multiple pcs suddenlly getting failed scans on differtent Brother ADS-4300n Lan scanners. We have tried the usual (reinstall Brother app and drivers, change from WIA to Twain and vice versa, restart WIA service, etc. I am suspecting a recent Windows 11 update.
Using the Brother app to scan via GUI all fine. For the Naps we use command line interface. Picture of error is attached. Some scanners attached via USB while most via ethernet or wireless.
Have you tried using ESCL Driver (for the network connected ones)?
ESCL driver was tried after latest NAPS verson loaded on one pc. Will verify usb vs lan. Thanks,.
Some searching this morning produced: "Microsoft: October Windows update may break Smart App Control" which in turn can break some scanner apps. I wonder if NAPS uses Smart App Control?
