Slow scanning one user. Settings, version, hardware all the same.
Scan documents to PDF and other file types, as simply as possible.

All users ok to same Brother ADS-4300N in scanning speed except one. Profiles identical (feeder, 400dpi, grey scale although I tried others). Hardware same as is Windows 11 version. Physical location same. Using Brother supplied I-Print and Scan, the speed is fine. NAP2 on this particular PC is slow. App uses Command Line interface to initiate the scan. "C:\Program Files (x86)\NAPS2"\naps2.console -o filename.pdf & " -f --progress". Directory differs when 64 bit. Scans all happen but when one pc sends job, the scanner is slow. That same pc's user says all other app functions operate at normal speed.
Thanks for the reply. To see if I am clear on this. Each pc using NAPS has one created by us profile on it. In that we set feeder, the scanner, dpi, etc. All are the same. I'm assuming the command line approach we employ uses that profile. There is only one profile per install. Is there another default profile overriding that? If so please let me know how to access. Thank-you,
This one is a puzzle. Using Brother's IPrint & Scan, it is fast which to me eliminates the driver. They both use WIA. I'm wondering if somehow the PDF-ability on the pc could be a factor. We are scanning to a PDF. Could the PDF part make the scanner wait? I will investigate that plus the LockSystemProfiles after hours. It does have but one profile though.
