A very useful program already, but would be even better if it had a couple of additions (probably tricky to implement without causing bloat though):

1: A simple crop function, which you could apply to the scanned image before saving as a PDF. Currently I scan, then save as a PNG image, then jump out to my image-editor, load the PNG file, crop, then print as a PDF using the doPDF print-driver. It'd be much nicer to be able to do this from within NAPS2.

2: The ability to load multiple PDF files and merge them into a single PDF document. As with the cropping, I have to use another application for that - pdfsam.

3: This is more of a niggle, rather than a request...

When I start NAPS2 and click the 'Scan' button, the 'Choose Profile' window appears and I have to click another 'Scan' button to initiate the actual scan. It would be nice if the main window 'Scan' button initiated the scan. The 'Profile' button could be used to list/choose the profiles.

Also, the 'Choose Profile' persists as the scan is being performed and must be manually closed after the scan is complete by clicking the 'Done' button. It would be better if this window closed automatically as soon as the 'Scan' button is clicked and the scan begins.

Keep up the great work!

Cheers,

Mike.

Totally agree, crop tool is the minimum one need along with rotate and flip.

I thought that number 2 was available before, but it is definitely available in v3.x.
