Hola,

Estoy agradecido por el interes en apoyar este proyecto.

Por otro lado, es claro que no esta avanzando a la velocidad adecuada, y la
razon es la falta de organizacion y metas.

Propongo:

- Finalizar el port antes de Enero 1 2007
- Permitir compilar el proyecto bajo Win32/64 y si es posible en Linux: 1
Junio 2007

La meta para el equipo es tener en Enero 1 2007 un producto funcional y
probado.

Para lograrlo se debe completar la reescritura de Lucene/dotLucene. La tarea
esta al  80% (mas o menos) y la parte mas dificil ya la termine.

Es necesario Delphi 2005/2006 con la personalidad .NET o el nuevo
TurboExplorer, descargar dotLucene

recodificar lo que falte.

*NO* es necesario gastar horas y horas de su valioso tiempo. Puede ser tan
simple como portar *1* unit a la vez.

Codificar una unit puede tomar por mucho 2 horas, pero la mayoria se hace en
minutos. Si no tiene el tiempo, me puede encargar de la integracion y el
testing.

La ayuda que se necesita es tener una meta personal como:

- Tengo 1-4 horas libres desde FechaInicio a FechaFin. (UD. decide)
- Si ese tiempo incluye depuracion y unit testing o solo recodificar (UD.
decide)

Entonces en base a eso puedo dar units a convertir.

Existen 37 que faltan para finalizar. Si somos 5 tipos y dedicamos unas 2/3
horas cada mes, podremos lograrlo facilmente y con poco esfuerzo. No olviden
que estoy disponible para ayudar y si es necesario, cargar con las unit test
y la depuracion.

I'm glad to all of you for your uninterested desire to work on this project.

In other hand, I know this project is not marching fast enough, and is for
the lack of goals and a calendar.

This project need 2 goals:

- Finish the port before 1 January 2007
- Permit the use from Win32 and if possible in a decent timeframe in Linux.
1 June 2007

Also, I like to propose a goal for our team: Make possible for 1 January (or
sonner) a complete and functional release of the library.

For this to happen, is necesary complete the rewrite of Lucene/dotLucene in
Delphi. The task is at 80% (more or less) complete and the hard work is
already done for my.
Is necesary have Delphi 2005/2006 or the new TurboExplorer, download dotLucene

read it then recode it on Delphi.

Is *not* necesary spend several hours of you valuable time to archieve the
goal. I can give to each a *single* unit to translate. Traslate a single
unit can take 2 hours maximun and the mayority sre very short and simply and
can be done in minutes. And if you don't have the time, I can do the testing
and review work.

But I need help in the form of:

- I have 1-4 hours free from startdate to endate. (Your decide it)
- If can spend time in integration and/or debuggin and test unit (You decide
it)

Then I can give the unit(s) to convert.

each month, we can archieve the goal easily and with very little effort.
