#85 some ascii sequences produce garbage in output

when a program (running in MGT) is printing some
special ascii codes, terminal produces garbage instead
of normal characters. "reset" command fixes the problem
but only in linux console (I use MGT to telnet into
different unices).
test program (compile & run):
...
printf("%c",14);
...

(Eterm and mlterm for example behave in a correct way)
