#263 Qt Creator automatically switches theme

I am using Qt Creator provided in msys2,

Qt Creator 3.6.1
Based on Qt 5.6.0 (GCC 5.3.0, 64 bit)

I am using Windows 8.1 Pro and using the default Windows theme which I believe is vista.
The problem is Qt Creator tree collapse/expand indicators switches from vista theme to windows xp theme i.e., the close and open arrow changes to plus and minus symbols.

Has anybody else experienced this problem?

I have created a small test for it.

Run the application the tree view shows the collapse/expand indicators as arrows. Now click on "Push Button", the collapse/expand indicators are switched to plus/minus sign.

Seems like this Qt bug is already fixed in QT 5.6.1. See here https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-52689

Can we update to 5.6.1?
