Hi, thank you for the nice program. The CLI part compiles and works fine on gentoo linux with gcc-5.4
If you want to support Linux distributoions, you can add a changelog file to your root directory https://www.gnu.org/prep/standards/html_node/Style-of-Change-Logs.html

Please add author information and the corresponding license file as usual.
I started a package for gentoo linux. It works but it is not clean yet.
We have to remove all libraries shipped by you and must use the system libs.
You can help us by providing a list, which libraries are required as minimum and if you patched anything.
If anybody is interested in the gentoo package, it is in my personal repository until it is ready for the official tree:

Best, Jonas

    Hi Jonas,

    Thanks for your interest and contribution.
    I already have a changelog in the debian directory. Is this format applicable? Because then I only create a copy.
    I am not very familiart with Linux distros. There is a COPYING file with the license, is that not appropriate?

    I have uploaded a new tarball: 5.5.2, which contains an updated COMPILING file with a list of libraries. I list them here, too. None of them is patched.

    autotools (autoconf>=2.61, automake>=1.6), bison (>=3.04),
    flex (>=2.6.1), g++ (>=7.1), libcairo2-dev (>=1.14.6), fontconfig (>=2.11),
    graphviz-dev (>=2.38), libglpk-dev (>=4.62) and texinfo (>=6.3),
    help2man (>=1.47.4)

    Gábor Németh homar@riseup.net, who maintains the debian package found these dependencies (debian packages, mostly): debhelper (>=9), automake, autotools-dev, bison, flex, libfl-dev, texinfo, libcairo2-dev, libfreetype6-dev, libfontconfig, help2man, libgraphviz-dev, texlive, texlive-generic-recommended.

    Please let me know if there is anything you need. I am also happy to grant you access to the repo, so that you can add the gentoo package to the Wiki, if you want.

    Z
