I have decided to remove CTL support from a future version of mrViewer as it is no longer widely supported and has been by replaced by all intent by OpenColorIO.
If you need this NOT to happen please speak now.

Oh no! I´m too late.
I´ve considered mrViewer to be an outstanding gemstone due to the ability to work with .icc/icm and aces.
At this point of writing the docs are still valid for the older version. Please let them stay available in any form.

That´s good news. :-)))
From my pov ICC/ICM is still the standard for DTP and print applications. Maybe the usage will decrease due to less print products and more screen based media in the future.
But that´s still a long way to go.
Thank you for this fantastic viewer.

Thank you very much for your quick response.
I´m currently having a deeper look into all that colormanagement stuff and mrviewer is such a great tool to experiment and validate with.

I'll be re-adding CTL and ICC/ICM support once again in v5.8.2.

Try out this v5.8.2, which has the CTL / ICC / ICM support. Let me know if it is missing anything as when re-adding something that was taken away, we might have missed something:

I just noticed I had inadvertedly removed the ACESclip save/load code. Please download this version of mrViewer which has it restored:
