I have been working with the Imfdisp application so far. It is/was also a very good viewer. But mrviewer is of course more up to date and more versatile. Thank you mister. ;-)

I´m wondering what the mr in the name mrviewer stands for? Since it has so many options to read native mental ray formats I thought it was an abbreviation of mental ray.
Thank you very much for your quick response. I´m currently having a deeper look into all that colormanagement stuff and mrviewer is such a great tool to experiment and validate with.
That´s good news. :-))) From my pov ICC/ICM is still the standard for DTP and print applications. Maybe the usage will decrease due to less print products and more screen based media in the future. But that´s still a long way to go. Thank you for this fantastic viewer.
Oh no! I´m too late. I´ve considered mrViewer to be an outstanding gemstone due to the ability to work with .icc/icm and aces. At this point of writing the docs are still valid for the older version. Please let them stay available in any form.
