If you don't want to use types then set in your config file

unset($booking_types);

Then the colour key won't be shown.

The "Capacity" and "Invalid types" columns are just shown in the rooms list and I wouldn't worry about them. If you don't want the capacity to be shown in the calendar then set it to zero.
