Hi all, I've asked this before and got no resolution and so am asking again hoping that a 'new' member of the list may have come across this issue: My problem was/is that I can't get the email function to work in with my mrbs (I've tried on a new install as well as existing). I actually asked a few other institutions locally that were using MRBS and none of those could get it to work and weren't that bothered, so we released mrbs also without it working. our staff feedback however had indicated that it would be more effective if we got it to work. here are some config settings and my installation particulars (WAMP) windows 2003 Server (enterprise edition) Apache 2.0 php 4.4.0 our mail server is a Novell Groupwise server and we use smtp for mail I can actually send mail from our webserver as I have some php functions on our website that require mail to be sent (using php's mail() function) I'm using ldap for authentication also config.inc.php settings: define ("MAIL_ADMIN_ON_BOOKINGS", TRUE); define ("MAIL_AREA_ADMIN_ON_BOOKINGS", TRUE); define ("MAIL_ROOM_ADMIN_ON_BOOKINGS", TRUE); define ("MAIL_ADMIN_ON_DELETE", TRUE); define ("MAIL_ADMIN_ALL", TRUE); define ("MAIL_DETAILS", TRUE); define ("MAIL_BOOKER", FALSE); define ("MAIL_DOMAIN", '@riverview.nsw.edu.au'); define ("MAIL_USERNAME_SUFFIX", ''); define ("MAIL_ADMIN_BACKEND", "smtp"); #******************* #******************* # SMTP settings # Set smtp server to connect.
