Hi, I am running MRBS on a Linux RH 9.0 installation on a Compaq P4 server on top of Apache/2.0.47 (Unix) PHP/4.3.3 and MySQL 3.23.54. I am now using the /bin/true type of authentication and have put the administrators in the configuration file and that seems to work. Others are supposed to be able to change only their own bookings, which should be OK for our purposes. The problem is I do not get the listing of each entry when I click on it, no matter if I am the user who made the booking or administrator or both, and the alternatives "Edit", "Delete" etc that appear in the demo-installation do not appear. There is only the phrase "Invalid entry id". I have checked the permissions on the mrbs-directory and on the php-scripts in it. In the config-file (config.inc.php)I have: # Database settings ################### # Which database system: "pgsql"=PostgreSQL, "mysql"=MySQL $dbsys = "mysql"; # Hostname of database server. For pgsql, can use "" instead of localhost # to use Unix Domain Sockets instead of TCP/IP. $db_host = "localhost"; # Database name: $db_database = "mrbs"; # Database login user name: $db_login = "mrbs"; and then a password, and I can log in with: "mysql -u mrbs -p" and the database server starts when I give that password. Please tell me what is wrong! Lars Smedman pediatrician Karolinska Institute, Stockholm |
