[MRBS-general] Feature suggestions

Hi,

We use a slightly modified version of MRBS in order to meet out requirements but I imagine modified features we use are often needed. I would like to be able to stay up to date with the latest version easily without having to reapply our modifications.

Basically we need more levels of user access and more control of which levels of user can book which rooms/areas and how far in advance. We have achieved this by adding extra fields in the users database and then customising the add entry pages etc.

We need 

- superusers who can modify rooms/areas
- staff users who can book rooms any time in advance
- postgraduate student users who can book all rooms up to one week in advance
- undergraduate student users who can book some rooms up to one week in advance

it would also be useful if there was some way MRBS could accommodate this flexibility - maybe by moving from differentiating users in config.inc.php to using a field in the users db?

I guess it gets pretty complicated to accommodate all possible uses of MRBS.
