Yes, that's it.   You might also want to consider a comparison using 'LIKE'
instead of '=' to catch the cases where the player's name has maybe been
entered slightly differently each time.

Sorry for my message - I've solved it on my own - I only changed the db
query and replaced the created_by with the name field.
