Hey, Thanks for your reply. Sorry should have explained the start and end time info more. What I was a bit confused about, was when I converted the UNIX timestamp for a few of the database entries, the start time was something like 12:07 and the end time was 12:08 - how does this link to the session times? So, we have Session 1, Session 2, Session 3 etc which are times throughout the day. So say we add a book for 20th November 2008 - Session 1 (which is 9am - 10am) how can I find this in the database by using the start and end time? Should the start unix timestamp = 20th November 2008 9:00am and the same accordingly for the end time? Thanks for your help Kind Regards Mike On Wed, Nov 19, 2008 at 6:44 PM, Campbell Morrison < ma...@ca...> wrote: > Not quite sure what you need to know about the start and end times: > they are Unix timestamps as in > http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.time.php > > Depending on what you're trying to achieve, one easy way of getting a > list of currently booked and free rooms is to have a link or a button > or a page which just goes to the day view for the current day and > setting timetohighlight in the query string to the current day (having > made sure that it matches one of the slots).
