Hello,

Would it be possible to add a feature where 'allow conflicts' can be defined per area / per room?

Thanks.

Can you explain a little bit more why you'd want to be able to do this? The whole point of MRBS is that it's for exclusive booking of a facility.

I would also like to be able to allow people to double book or even better have a number of available slots in a period. I am looking to use the system as an internal collection booking system. So for example would like to be able to have 5 am and 5 pm slots available to be booked.

You could always create two rooms, eg Room 1A and Room 1B to allow double booking.

Can you explain a little bit more what you mean by an "internal collection booking system"? Also I don't understand the bit about 5am and 5pm slots.

Conflicts would be ideal for my uses as well, because we're using it to book a cart of laptops, however, a user might not book the entire cart of them and there'd still be some available for another user.

OK, I think I understand. It's not so much the ability to allow conflicts that's needed, but the ability to define more than one resource in a room and allow users to book a number of them.

For example, I have a room where a photographic exhibition is held and, at the same time, a conference. If I book the photo exhibition from Monday to Saturday and then book a conference on Wednesday, in the same room, I can't do it.
It would be useful to be able to make multiple bookings. Will it be possible in the future? I'm sorry for my english.

Obviously, it shouldn't be the default.
For example: when you create an area or a room you could put a flag that allows simultaneous reservations.

How is it possible to have a conference and an exhibition in the same room at the same time?

This is one of my rooms. (attached photo)
On the panels there are photos of the exhibition which lasts two weeks.
During the same period, in this room there are meetings, conferences, etc.
Thanks again for your availability :)

I have several multi-function rooms. Often several things are happening at the same time. But don't worry, if that's not possible, I'll take another way. Thanks again. :)

No, it's not possible I'm afraid. But in your room how can the exhibition be viewed if there's a meeting in progress?

During a conference, at the entrance to the room, there is a sign that warns visitors. However, in future versions, it would be useful to provide for multiple booking. Please, take into account this option. Thanks again for your time. :)

I think it's unlikely that we'd allow multiple bookings. The whole point of MRBS is to allow resources to be booked. If you actually have multiple resources that can be booked then you need to make those separately bookable. For example, in your case it might be that you have "Meeting Room - wall space" which can be booked for the exhibition and "Meeting Room - floor" which can be booked for the meeting.

Or it may be that if there's a meeting in progress the exhibition can't be seem. So the room can only be booked by the exhibition for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
