Hi all,
I just have moved to Fedora 8 to avoid some problems with Fedora 9... I've
downloaded all the fc8.rpm files from mpls 1961. I've ionstalled the new
kernel an all the packets but when I try to launch mpls command it launches
me an error.
Here is the output:
[root@localhost Desktop]# uname -r
2.6.25.4-10.fc8.mpls.1.961
[root@localhost Desktop]# rpm -ivh *.rpm --oldpackage

You are allowed to have more then one kernel installed so using
the 'i' option to 'rpm' is OK. With iproute, iptables, kernel-header
you can only have one version installed, so you have to use teh 'U' option
instead of the 'i' option to 'rpm':
rpm -Uvh iptables-1.3.8-7.fc8.mpls.1.961.i386.rpm --oldpackage

but when I restart and boot from new kernel and I try to install rpm files:
iptables, kernel-headers, iproute... It launches an error of conflicting

To install Wuagga-mpls you have to download directly from P4 (Perforce) repository. THe file that contains the most recent version is the one named: quagga-mpls. Hi James, I've changed my distribution to Fedora 9 due to work directly with your rpm file and avoid some problems about compilation of kernel. I'm totally newbie in Fedora and I cannot install rpm files you posted before here http://mpls-linux.sf.net/fedora/8/i386/mpls/ Fedora launch an error when I try to install kernel-2.6.25.4-10.fc8.mpls.1.961.i686. It says something that I have a newer kernel installed on machine than I try to install ( snapshot of the error: http://img237.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshotwm9.png) . Yes, the latest version of quagga-mpls can be found in perforce in the quagga-mpls directory. The only error I know of is a display error when doing a 'show ip route' when there are MPLS nexthops.
