It would be great to combine der contour map of "http://topo.geofabrik.de/" with OSM-maps (task called "alphablend").
One of the members of the Glopus-Forum created a tool (see attachement) to do this manually:

  1. create a contour map of the desired area ( with TBAC "upgraded with "http://topo.geofabrik.de/relief/{$z}/{$x}/{$y}.png")
  2. create an identical map with OpenStreetMap Hiking (Germany only) of TBAC
  3. run the attached tool, within this give the path for the two maps created before and a destination folder for the combined map.
Again thanks for the tool and the great work you did until now !!!!!!!!!!

Maps which have two layers (base layer and one overlay) are now supported by the map viewer and the download engine.

The remaining part which is still missing is the logic used by the "MapCreator" instances.

The next preview release of TAC will contain full support for multi-layer map sources like OSM Hiking with relief or Google Hybrid.
